The opportunity to appreciate different perspectives from others is the caffeine in my coffee. I am constantly amazed at how differently each of us can percieve the same event, and how a deepening awareness and peace arises from simply allowing for different perspectives, especially if they don't align with my own.

Such a telling query ~ I stand for acceptance and grace, patience, and kindness. Each of us has a path that is valid for ourselves and cannot be judged by anyone except ourselves in that it is serving us or not. In many instances other paths are not understandable from the perspective of our own path, but choosing to simply allow for these differences creates the very basis for learning how to fully accept our own with grace, and having patience and kindness towards the choices of others.

Today I would like to learn how to let go completely, how to allow life to be what it wants to be through me instead of trying to control what I think should be happening. My music teaches me this all the time ~ it only works when I relax enough so that it flows through me, and then it is pure magic, and is the stuff I really enjoy sharing with others. Otherwise it is obviously contrived, and I understand that it is the same with life in general, but getting brain out of the way is quite the process. I am thankful for Eckhart Tolle's contributions to us all along these lines. Son Jerry constantly teaches flow ~ I love just cruising with him and turning brain off so that we are constantly discovering new games and creative expressions. It is the application of these principles to the rest of "adult life" and its responsibilities that is the playground I am walking towards!

Today I simply want to extend a heartfelt appreciation for all that is, has been, and will be to us all during this time of passage and transition through the year. To the Zaadz community for being what it is, and providing such a realm for us to explore our awakening. To my family for being, and son Jerry especially for rooting so deeply the love that courses through, and giving it expression so readily.
And in this time of such profound potential, and with seeds planted deep for the new year, it is my hope that we all become the water we need to germinate our change.
And Thank You Brian for awakening Arete.

** Note to friends and family ~ After many attempts in posting embedded audio, I have discovered the reason why it is not working through the service I was trying to utilize, and I am about to depart for a three day gig, so I will do my best to post some audio as soon as I get back. Lots of Love! The original post from the other day:
After many moons of stalking and laying low in the tall grasses of the world, I have finally captured my shadow back from the illustrious tink. Exciting indeed, but treacherous nonetheless, so as proof of my daring deed I humbly offer to the world a gift of said shadow split into four facets of glimmering guise. They are to be found on my blog pages under "Gifting of musical offerings...", and I truly hope that they offer a measure of joy unto you this holiday season.
.
Babblefish inserted ~ For the longest time in my path music has been a most profound teacher, allowing me to discover heights and depths always undreamt of until perceived. Yet I have also experienced a curious phenomenon where it has been made very clear to me through many episodes that the product of such explorations and learnings and sonic glimpses into the fabric of my very being were to be kept close, and not made available for public consumption. That is a story in it's own right. But very recently that has changed, and I have experienced in no uncertain terms that it is time to let the cat out of the bag, and I am oh so very ready for the giving! I have never in my life felt such empowerment, as if so much of what has passed has been a dress rehearsal for this further awakening. So as tokens of my appreciation, for life, for liberty, and in happy pursuit of the next sunset, I humbly offer four morsels from my vault for your aural chewing. And as always, feedback is most appreciated.
